AgriIntel is operated by Brainfy AI Inc., a Canadian company. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

Account information: name, email address, phone number when you register
Farm data: farm name, location, province, acreage, crop types you enter
Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
Payment information: billing address and payment details processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers
IoT/sensor data: readings from connected farm devices you authorize

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide, operate, and improve the AgriIntel platform
Generate AI-powered crop health and market analyses
Send transactional emails (account confirmations, alerts, invoices)
Process subscription payments via Stripe
Comply with Canadian legal and regulatory requirements

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform (Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, OpenAI for AI analysis) and only to the extent required to provide those services. All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and farm data for as long as your account is active. IoT sensor data is retained for 2 years. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected].

6. Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in Canada or the US). We use row-level security (RLS) to enforce tenant isolation, HTTPS for all data in transit, and JWT-based authentication. No system is 100% secure; we will notify you of any breaches affecting your data as required by law.

7. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, and withdraw consent for non-essential processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. Cookies

AgriIntel uses session cookies for authentication (via Supabase) and analytics cookies via Google Analytics 4. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; this may affect platform functionality.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
