Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

AgriIntel is operated by Brainfy AI Inc., a Canadian company. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, phone number when you register
• Farm data: farm name, location, province, acreage, crop types you enter
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
• Location and device identifiers: we do not read your device's location — farm coordinates come from the farm location you enter — and we do not collect advertising or other device identifiers. If an error occurs while you are signed in, we record the error message, the page it happened on and your browser or app version so we can fix it.
• Payment information: billing address and payment details processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve the AgriIntel platform
• Show weather conditions and spray-window guidance for your farm's location
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, invoices)
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Comply with Canadian legal and regulatory requirements

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform: Supabase for database hosting and authentication, Vercel and Cloudflare for website hosting and content delivery, Stripe for payments, Resend for email, OpenWeather for weather data (it receives only the coordinates of the farm whose weather is requested, never your name or email), OpenFreeMap for map tiles on the farm map, Anthropic for the website assistant (visitor chat messages only — never your farm records), and Google Analytics for aggregate usage measurement — and only to the extent required to provide those services. All service providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

5. Google User Data

If you sign in with Google, AgriIntel receives your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account (the standard openid, email and profile scopes). We request no other Google data: AgriIntel does not access your Google Calendar, Drive, Gmail or contacts.

• How we use it: only to create your account and sign you in, show your name in the app, and send the emails your account needs (sign-in, billing and the weather alerts you set up). We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models.
• Storage: stored with our authentication and database provider, Supabase, on AWS in Canada (ca-central-1), encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Sharing: we do not share Google user data with third parties except the service providers needed to run AgriIntel — Supabase (authentication and database), Resend (to deliver email to your address) and, if you subscribe, Stripe (billing) — or where required by law. Resend and Stripe process data outside Canada.
• Retention and deletion: kept while your account is active. Deleting your account in Settings → Delete account removes your account and Google-derived data from our live systems immediately; deletion requests sent to [email protected] are completed within 30 days, and copies in our database provider's encrypted backups expire within 30 days. You can revoke AgriIntel's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

AgriIntel's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and farm data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and the farm data stored with it at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app or on the website (see how to delete your account), or by contacting [email protected].

7. Security

Your farm records are stored in Supabase on AWS in Canada (ca-central-1), and the server functions that process them run in the same Canadian region. Some of the providers listed above operate outside Canada (for example Stripe, Resend, OpenWeather and Anthropic), and our website is delivered through a global content network. We use row-level security (RLS) to enforce tenant isolation, HTTPS for all data in transit, and JWT-based authentication. No system is 100% secure; we will notify you of any breaches affecting your data as required by law.

8. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct inaccuracies, and withdraw consent for non-essential processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@agriintel.ca.

9. Cookies

AgriIntel uses session cookies for authentication (via Supabase) and analytics cookies via Google Analytics 4. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; this may affect platform functionality.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
