What does farm management software do?
It keeps your farms, crops, and acreage in one organized system so planning and record-keeping draw on real data instead of scattered notes. AgriIntel attaches each farm's own weather and spray windows to those records.
Can I track field history year over year?
Not yet — per-field records with season history are on the roadmap, and we label them that way. Today records are kept at the farm level: location, acreage, soil, and crops.
Does it work for multiple farms?
Yes — one account can hold multiple farms, each with its own coordinates, acreage, and crops. Multi-user access for co-operatives is on the roadmap.
Does this include accounting or equipment data?
No. AgriIntel keeps farm, crop and acreage records alongside weather; it does not do bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, inventory, or machine data from your equipment brand. Farms that need those usually run an accounting package such as AgExpert or a general ledger alongside, and use AgriIntel for the weather and alerting side.
What records can I actually keep today?
For each farm: its name, location and province, map coordinates, soil type, primary crops, and acreage in either acres or hectares. You can add, edit and delete farms, keep several, and your unit preference applies throughout the dashboard. Field boundaries, per-field history and season-over-season comparisons are on the roadmap and labelled as such.
Is my data kept private?
Yes — data is hosted in Canada, encrypted in transit, isolated per account, and never sold — it is shared only with the service providers listed in our privacy policy, consistent with PIPEDA.
